• Our Premium Grade 10-day shaded organic Sencha (also known as Shaded Tea) is made from young tender leaves harvested on the 88th day from the start of the first harvest season in spring. It is said that teas made from such leaves are the best tasting teas. This tea is medium steamed (Chumushi), resulting in its bright green appearance and liquorice. Skillfully processed at a well-controlled high temperature, the tea has an amazingly profound aroma and deep umami taste that surprises the palate.• We use biodegradable tea bags and there are 3g of tea leaves in each bag (total 10 tea bags).
• We strongly recommend ORGANIC, because you are consuming the whole leaf, so you would not want any chemicals such as synthetic fertilizers or pesticides in your body.
