    The ingredients are 100% Japanese green tea, freshly milled from Japan.
  • How do I know which Grade suits me?
    The answer actually varies because it depends what kind of taste and aroma one prefers. Our highest Ceremonial Grade, Gurando (グランド) , is light-bodied, smooth, with no bitterness and leaves a “creamy” feel to the mouth. Our Premium Daily Grade (Ereganto エレガント) has a refreshing taste and is immensely smooth to the palate. If you wish to use it as a healthy ingredient in Matcha Lattes, Smoothies or Baking, you may choose our Premium Culinary Matcha.
  • How much caffeine does Matcha have compared to Coffee?
    For 1 tsp (teaspoon) of Matcha powder (2 grams), the average caffeine amount will be 64 mg caffeine. For coffee, it will be around 100 mg caffeine.

  • What is the shelf life for Matcha?
    The shelf life our our matcha is 24 mths from date of manufacture if unopened and stored in cool and dry place, away from sunlight. If opened, it is best to consume within one month.

  • How many servings can our 30g matcha make?
    We recommend a serving size of 2 grams, which is equivalent to 1 teaspoon. It will give you 15 servings for our 30g matcha. However, you can choose to have a serving size of 1.5 grams or even 2.5 grams, there is no exact standard serving size that one must follow.
